On the job in Kandahar. Moving around in armoured cars has got to be my least favourite part of embeds in Afghanistan. Unfortunately the Taleban have proven amply capable of making bombs (from the most mundane farmyard ingredients) big enough to destroy even the strongest and boldest of the American’s military hardware.
